Your school can answer details that a general website cannot. Save or print these questions before a meeting or email.

Before testing

  • Which OLSAT edition, level, and form will my child take?
  • Is testing on paper or online? Are directions read aloud?
  • How long is the local session, and are breaks planned?
  • What accommodations are available when needed?

After testing

  • Which scores are reported, and what comparison group is used?
  • How will the school use the result alongside other information?
  • Is there a local threshold, appeal process, or retesting policy?
  • What support is available regardless of placement?

For score terms, read the OLSAT score guide.
